ARC Burundi: Ugandan drivers out to chase Kenya’s Karan Patel on day 2

Favourite crew to win the ongoing African Rally Championship (ARC) in Ngozi, Burundi of Kenya’s Karan Patel and co-driver Tauseef Khan won day one.

The fourth ARC competition on the 2023 calendar enterd day twoon Sunday and the car to chase is the Ford Fiesta which posted a time of 01:15:16:3.

In second place was the Ugandan crew of Jas Mangat and co-driver Joseph Kamya in their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10 with a time of 01:20:17:7.

Yasin Nasser and co-driver Ali Katumba another Ugandan crew powered by Moil came third in their Ford Fiesta R5 with a time of 01:20:21:1.

Day two of the Burundi ARC will cover six stages to crown the winner as each of the top guns aims to gather maximum points.

Patel is third in the ARC standings behind Jas Mangat and Yasin Nasser and a win down in Ngozi will shake the table.

The Moil Rally Team of Nasser tops the leaderboard with 54 points, followed by Mangat with 42 points, who is above Patel by 12 points.
