After the first day of the competition, Batball Open East edition resumed with the second and final day that saw a number of players walking away with accolades back home.
Day two comprised of four competitive games that include third, second and first position being fought for amidst local crowds, entertainment with local artists and being broadcasted live.
Phenomenal Cricket was seen at Soroti Cricket Oval but it was team Ejibat led by Peter Ocen who went all out to defeat spirited team Atapeng by 12 runs and emerged winners of the first edition hosted in Soroti City.
56 players were seen competing in Batball Open East edition for two days and 16 players will be selected to represent Teso Region next year in Batball X.
The outstanding players were rewarded and below is the list;

Creating awareness for gender-based violence headlined all activities of Batball Open East Edition and all hopes remain in the hands of the people in the communities of Teso Region.
The next stop will be Batball Open East Edition this weekend on Saturday 17th December and Sunday 18th December 2022 at Jinja SS Cricket Oval and will also be live broadcasted on Batball TV.
