Beach Handball: 20 Ugandans summoned for continental games preps

Uganda Handball Federation has summoned a 20-player squad to start preparations ahead of next month’s continental Women Beach Games.

Slated for June 23rd to 30th 2023 in Hammamet in Tunisia, Uganda will compete against hosts Tunisia and regional neighbours and rivals Kenya.

They will also take on Western African giants Mali, before a tie with another Northern African side Algeria.

Plascon

The team will be vying for one of the available four slots for the second edition of the ANOC World Handball Beach Games.

The global showdown will tentatively take place later this year in Bali, Indonesia from August 5th to 12th of the same month in 2023.
