Beach Soccer: Buganda Royal, Sand Lions to fight for the last playoff slot

This year’s National Men’s Beach Soccer League will come to an end on 28th June 2023 with the crowning of the champion.

Over the weekend, St. Lawrence Beach Soccer Club, Mutoola Beach Soccer Club and Jinja Lions sealed their playoff slots.

In fourth place is MS Sand Lions is six points above Buganda Royal as the fight for the final playoff slot enters the final bend of the Beach Soccer League.

Buganda Royal with a game in hand have to beat Kiringite and Mutoola with a big goal margin and pray for the Lions to fall to Grace Church and St. Lawrence.

The top four teams qualify for the playoffs and the overall winner takes home gold medals and the trophy.

Jinja Lions’ Mwere Nicholas is currently the leading scorer with 24 goals, only two above MS Sand Lions’ Simon Kizito.
