Ugandan forward Erisa Ssekisambu and Rwandan side, Kiyovu Sports have mutually parted ways after just one season.

Kiyovu confirmed Ssekisambu’s departure on their social media accounts and thanked him for his services.

The Uganda Cranes and former SC Villa player joined Kiyovu Sport in the summer of last year after his second spell with KCCA FC.

Ssekisambu scored his last goal in a Kiyovu sports jersey on 28th May this year when he netted against Rutsiro FC.

The journeyman leaves the Kiyovu Sport after one season with 10 goals, 6 goals behind the Rayon Sport and League’s top scorer Willy Onana.

Ssekisambu helped his club to finish second on the table, level on points (65) with champions APR.

They missed out on the Rwanda Primus National League on goal difference, eight short.

On a bright note, former KCCA FC playmaker Muzamir Mutyaba still has a running contract with Kiyovu Sport.

Ssekisambu has previously played for Gor Mahia, Express FC, Vipers SC, and URA FC, and also featured for Uganda U20, U23, and Senior National Men’s Teams.
