Matchday 11 of the Beach Soccer League will resume this Sunday with eight games at FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

Last week, MS Lions shocked many when they beat defending champions St. Lawrence and Buganda Royal before being held by Grace Church.

The performance took the Lions to fifth position on the table, in reach of a playoff slot but they need more sounding outings going forward.

A tough task awaits them in the afternoon as they face table leaders Mutoola before battling Wolves later in the evening.

Mutoola returned to the top of the log last week with a ninth win from eleven matches. St. Lawrence is two points behind but does have a game in hand.

Following a poor show last weekend, Jinja Lions dropped to third place and they will be out to keep their playoff slot when they face KJT and unpredictable MUBS.

Jinja Lions’ Nicholas Mwere will be looking to score more goals to keep his golden boot dream alive.

He currently tops with 24 goals, five more than MS Sand Lions Simon Kizito who’s in the second position.
