Uganda Rugby Cranes 7s Head Coach Tolbert Onyango has today morning named the final 14-man squad for the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
The side led by Michael Wokorach and Ian Munyani as the the captain and vice respectively will miss the services of Kelvin Balagadde.
The enforcer is the only player who didn’t make the squad out of the 12 who won the Rugby 7s Africa Cup in Kampala. William Nkore and Alex Aturinda are the new additions.
A total of 14 players were named with Buffaloes winger Levis Ocen as the reserve player incase anything happens between now and tournament kick off.
The squad has only one professional player in Philip Wokorach who plays in France. He is the top try scorer for the Rugby Cranes 7s.
