Batball Open‘s next stop will be hosted by Entebbe Cricket Oval this Saturday and Sunday as the search for the next cricket gems continues.

After successfully holding three editions in Jinja, Soroti, and Gulu, the Central Region is next on the list with Fort Portal as the last destination if all goes well.

With the help of the Uganda Cricket Association, the two-day edition will have nine matches on the menu with four teams batting for bragging rights.

Naddibanga, Ensega, Akasumagizi, and Kalooli are the teams. The names were derived from those of the birds that are common to the central region.

A Local Organizing Committee, soundly led by the dynamic Paul Kaheru, has been constituted and will be responsible for running this event.

The best 16 players will progress to the next challenge, where they shall meet the respective best players from other regions to compete in Batball X later this year.
