Ugandan playmaker Ibrahim Kasule‘s shine continues to glow brighter as he scored one and assisted another, despite his side New York Red Bulls II losing 3-2 to rivals New York City II in the wee hours of Monday.
This comes just days after he got promoted to the senior team; New York Red Bulls, making the bench on Saturday as they beat New England Revolution 2-1.
On Monday though, Kasule provided a 79th minute assist to Ricardo Gorday that had his side open their account, having leaked in three by the 69th minute.
In the 81st minute, he took matters into his own hands as he netted their second, before they eventually lost.
Kasule has now been a part of 11 goal involvements in just 15 matches.
He has scored seven and made four assists, but all the goals have come in the past eight games, a clear statement of excellence.
It should be noted that Kasule exited Wakiso Giants FC for the US-based outfit, having five goals plus six assists in the first round of the Uganda Premier League season (2022/23).
