Kampala Queens FC To Appoint Sam Kadidi as new head coach

The 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League champions Kampala Queens FC are set to appoint Sam Charles Kadidi Ssenyange Nsanziro as their new head coach.

Coach Kadidi left KCCA FC at the end of 2022/23 season where he was serving as an interim assistant coach.

The CAF B tactician is set to replace Hamza Lutalo who left Kampala Queens at the end of 2022/23 season.

Hamza Lutalo guided Kampala Queens FC to their maiden league title and ended his services after two seasons.

The Queens of Soccer have already announced Tonny Mawejje as their new assistant coach.

The team is already in the camp preparing for upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal Qualifiers that will be played between August 12th-30th this year.

Kampala Queens was drawn in group A alongside Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (C.B.E), FC F.A.D (Djibouti), Buja Queens (Burundi), and Yei Joint Stars of South Sudan.

All group A games wil be played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru and the winner of the tournament will represent CECAFA region in the final CAF Women’s Champions League tournament in Ivory Coast.

Kadidi who played for KCCA FC between between 1988 and 1994 and has coached a number of clubs including Mbarara City, Paidha Black Angels, Tooro United, UTODA, among others.

He also had stints at Pietermaritzburg City (South Africa), Transnet Kings United (South Africa), Sobantu (South Africa) and Lioli FC (Lesotho) managing in lower leagues.
