Rugby returns to her proverbial home this weekend as the National Sevens Calendar makes her next stop at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds for the Kyadondo 7s.
The Rams, drafted in the first pool, will be walking into Kyadondo strapped fresh in protection gear thanks to Marie Stopes, the distributor of Lifeguard Condoms.
Rams, with ties to the medical community, sought this partnership because the partner cares about sexual reproductive health, and rugby is played and watched by majorly young people who love to have fun; hence protective sex will help them avoid contracting STDs and unwanted pregnancies.
The Lifeguard Rams will debut their kit in the same group as the KOBs, now with the oldest kit amongst the core sides.
The table-leading KOBs are still clad in the Betway apparel from as far back as 2015.
There are rumours of a new deal for the giants, but before then, we advise everyone to tackle the KOBs cautiously, as the uniforms may not last.
The Rams defeated KOBs on Day 1 of the Tooro 7s before the latter engaged second gear on the second day to win the whole thing.
In the same group are the hosts, Heathens, who engaged their might in the lowly Challenge Cup in Tooro and will be looking to stay in contention for the Main Cup this weekend.
Boks, the developmental side of the KOBs, completes the first group of Kyadondo 7s.
