Busiro Saza head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa cursed wastefulness and missed chances in their one-all draw with Kyaggwe in the 2022 Masaza Cup, on Sunday in Nakisunga.
After scoring first through Shafic Akram Muzanyi, Kyaggwe equalized later in the first half through Hussein Ssenoga as the match went on to end 1-1.
โWe are disappointed with the performance, because we deserved the win,โ Mugerwa stated.
โWe were denied by the post four times and you can tell that we took the game to Kyaggwe. We failed to put away our chances.”
Now, the focus shifts to the side’s second group game up against Bugerere, a side that lost 1-2 to Bulemeezi this Saturday in the Muganzirwaza Group.
โBut a draw against a tough team like Kyaggwe and away from home is a result we can take. We are going back to the drawing board and see that we can win our next home game.โ
The 2019 finalists, Busiro are eyeing their first Masaza trophy. They lost to Bulemeezi 1-0 at Namboole.
