Following their exit in 2013 telecommunications company MTN Uganda returned as the official sponsor for the Uganda Cranes and other FUFA activities in a deal worth Uganda Shillings 19 billion.
“FUFA has 17 competitions and what was mentioned was about four or five meaning there is still room for other sponsors to be involved,” FUFA president Moses Magogo told the press at Kampala Serena Hotel on Wednesday night.
“I believe it is a good thing not to sell in pieces let’s give MTN back the investment because you can hear the amount of money involved.”
“This does not mean that other players in the non-competitive industries can not as well associate with us.”
Aside from being the Uganda Cranes’ main sponsor, MTN will take care of the Crested Cranes, the FUFA Drum, FUFA Juniors League, FUFA Super 8, Super Cup, and the annual FUFA Awards.
