All roads will lead to the Victoria race park, Garuga on 29th January when the 2023 national motocross championship gets underway for the new season.
Scores of riders will compete as the new campaign starts with the intention of getting early points ahead of a long calendar.
According to organizers, over 100 riders have registered to take on the track and this was confirmed at the launch of the event held at Uganda Olympic Committee offices in Lugogo.
The race will be the first of eight rounds this year that will be held across different venues including Fort Portal, Kasanje, Busiika, and Masaka city.
Riders across various classes are also gearing up for motocross of Africa Nations due in August plus the World championships set for later in the year.
At a presser yesterday, Federation of Uganda Motorsport clubs of Uganda (FMU) Vice President Kisitu Mayanja revealed details.
“The track is ready and riders are training hard. But, we will also have cars racing to spice up the event.”
