Nkima and Mamba Kakoboza prevailed with slim victories over Ngo and Kkobe respectively to book their slots in the final, slated for Saturday, June 6, at the Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium.
To reach the final of the tournament which kicked off at the beginning of May, Nkima defeated Ngo 1-0. Ivan Katumba scored the decisive goal in the first semifinal played at Wankulukuku.

In the second semifinal, also hosted at Wankulukuku, Mamba Kakoboza edged out Kkobe. Samuel Nsubuga scored the lone goal to secure a 1-0 win, keeping Mamba Kakoboza’s in pursuit of their maiden trophy alive. They will face three-time champions Nkima in the final.

Both teams launched this year’s campaign at the round of 16 stage, having finished among the top eight in the 2025 edition. Nkima eliminated last year’s finalists, Ndiga, in the round of 16 before knocking out Omutima Omusagi in the quarterfinals. Meanwhile, Mamba Kakoboza stopped record champions Mamba Namakaka (of Gabunga) and Kasimba.
The final, which will climax the 2026 Bika Bya Baganda Championship, is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 PM, preceded by a third-place classification match at 12:00 PM.
Netball Final Set
The day will also feature the Bika Netball final. Nte booked their spot by dethroning the defending champions, Nyonyi Nyange, with a hard-fought 46-42 victory in the semifinals.

In the final, Nte will take on Mamba, who comfortably defeated Ngabi Nsamba 53-37 in their semifinal clash. The netball final will take place earlier in the day, leading up to the grand awarding ceremony for all of this year’s championships.
