Adrian Kasito and Peace Lekuru were named the best players of the season at the 2022 Nile Special Uganda Rugby Awards held on Friday evening at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Kasito beat Aaron Ofoyrwoth, Jacob Ocen and Ivan Magomu while Lekuru handed off Charlotte Mudoola, Faith Namugga and Angela Nanyonjo.
The other two highlights of the red carpet awards were the crowd engaging performance by musician Jose Chameleone, and all winners getting cash prizes.
