This fate would classify them to the second phase of the tournament to be played next year.

The second edition of the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup following the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions due to COVID-19 related restrictions has 12 teams split in 4 pools playing a single round-robin to determine the winners.

Uganda is hosting Kenya and Zambia in pool B of the15s continental showpiece at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku from October 25 to November 2, and the two teams are expected to jet in this Sunday.

Lady Rugby Cranes Coach, Leonard Lubambula is happy with the energy in camp and has confidence in the group to deliver on the pitch.

What Lubambula told Nnalubaale Sports after the team’s Wednesday training session at Kyadondo Rugby Club.

“These players have been training together for some good time and the chemistry is visible now. We are simply polishing a few things and improving their fitness levels.”
