Paint giants Kansai Plascon today morning handed over a striking new jersey to Mongers Rugby Club.

The passion-ignited event was hosted by Plascon’s sales offices on the 2nd Street Industrial Area ahead of the Nile Special 7s and 2023/24 15s League.

Daniel Kayongo, the Plascon Brand Manager expressed his enthusiasm during the handover of the Samurai-crafted jersey.

“We are proud to hand over this exceptional jersey and continue supporting the club’s journey.”

On the receiving end, Elijah Kitooke, Chairman of Mongers Rugby Club promised better results starting with the Jinja 7s circuit.

“With these new jerseys, balls, and training tackle bags, now it’s upon us to put up a show and we promise to Twaake.”

This weekend, Mongers will go all out for their first major silverware when they take part in the Jinja 7s at Dam Waters ground.

The first circuit of the 2023 national 7s calendar will be a two days affair with the defending champions Hippos Rugby Club hosting.
