Uganda Cranes head coach, Paul Put, has announced a 27-man squad for the decisive 2025 AFCON Qualifiers. The squad features a few notable changes, with four new players included and four others omitted from the previous squad.

The squad has 27 players, of which 9 are home bassed with KCCA FC being the most represented club with 4, SC Villa has 3 and the other two are from Kitara FC.

New Additions to the Squad:

  • John Paul Sembe – Forward
Players Omitted from the Previous Squad:

Despite the changes, Coach Put has kept the midfield intact, relying on the same core group of players.

  • Congo Brazaville vs. Uganda – November 18th, Stade Alphonse-Massamba-Débat

With two games remaining, Uganda is on the brink of qualifying for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco. A win against South Africa and a favorable result in the Congo match could secure their place in the tournament.
