Shakirah Nyinagahirwa joins Kampala Queens FC

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC Midfielder Shakirah Nyinagahirwa has officially joined Kampala Queens FC on a short term loan deal.

Kampala Queens FC confirmed the player signing via their social media accounts.

“Kampala Queens FC gladly announces that the club has agreed with Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC for the loan transfer of Shakirah Nyinagahirwa.”

“The club has also agreed the personal terms with the player.” The statement reads.

The teenager joins the Queens on a 6 months loan deal from Kawempe Muslim FC.

Nyinagahirwa was the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League MVP and top scorer after scoring 12 goals and 7 assists.

The Queens of soccer are strengthening the squad with the target of winning the forthcoming CAF Women’s Champions League Zonal qualifiers.

The 18yr old, was yesterday named the captain of the U-18 Women’s National Team that is currently in the camp preparing for the U-18 CECAFA Women’s Championship.

Shakirah will join players like Margret Kunihira, Hasifah Nassuna, Asia Nakibuka, Shamirah Nalugya, among others to play for both Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Kampala Queens FC.
