Uganda Table Tennis Association will unveil and launch locally made table tennis table in two weeks time if all goes to plan.
According to the Table Tennis local governing body president Robert Jjagwe, a 100% Ugandan made product.
“They will be able to withstand mechanical damage(impact) by players and last at least 10 years,” he told Nnalubaale Sports.
In addition to the table, the racket casing, racket protection box, the net among others will be part of the final package.
In short, the entire Table Tennis equipment set will be ‘Made in Uganda’ for the first time in the country’s history.
“Much as these are all locally made, we have ensured that they are up to great standards and that they exude enough beauty and admiration,” Jjagwe concluded.
