Uganda Rugby Premiership top try scorer and KOBs utility player Pius Ogena is set to star alongside Hippos waymaker Tawfiq Bagalana for the African Scorpions RFC.
The two will feature for the Scorpions RFC alongside three other Hippos in Yusuf Waiswa, David Wako, Makita Dembele, and journeyman Ivan Kirabo.
The Ugandans are already in Zanzibar ahead of the game against Welsh club Brycethin RFC.
The Welsh side has had a remarkable season, winning the Division 4 title on top of claiming the West Central championship.
The Ugandan lads will have a familiar face in the technical stands, as Jinja Hippos Coach Saidi Atibu will be taking on the mantle to coach the Scorpions.
The African Scorpions RFC will be playing their first competitive game in 30 years against Brycethin RFC this Thursday, June 1st at Mao Zedong Stadium in Zanzibar.
