The race for USPA Presidency is incredibly close with only days left

Uganda Sports Press Association paid up members will go to the polls this Saturday to cast their votes in the elective Annual General Assembly.

The battle between young blood in Moses Alaysed Lubega and seasoned Leon Ssenyange who is attempting for the same slot for the fourth time.

Lubega, Ssenyange or neither? Nnalubaale Sports conducted a study among a number of paid up members ahead of Saturday’s elections and the polls are really close.

Hosted by Chopper Chimney at Lugogo, the day will kickoff with the presidential report at 9am followed by the auditor’s submission.

The item on the agenda will be the resolution of the current Executive Committee and the powers will then be handed to the returning officer Elijah Njawuzi, a Uganda Olympic Committee member.

“We want to be done by 2pm and give members ample time to catch up with the day’s work. I urge paid up members to keep time,” Outgoing USPA president Patrick Kanyomozi told Nnalubaale sports.
