Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) today welcomed the Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA) executive committee led by their President Moses Alsayed Lubega to their premises at the Lugogo sports complex.

UCA Chief Executive Officer Allan Mugume hailed USPA Executive for extending an olive branch with the visit.

The UCA Media and Communication Manager Denis Musali pledged improved communication and swift information sharing in real time to support factual reporting.

“It is a very insightful thought of USPA, your intentions are great we shall work on bridging the information gap and pushing your coverage beyond national teams to include women and schools activities too.”

“It’s been long over due for Cricket Uganda and USPA having this kind of interaction. We plan to go as far as outside Kampala to the regions and hope to have visible action points,” Musali Said.

The USPA president Moses Alsayed Lubega in return said, “we are looking at bridging the differences to get to understand each other better from working closely and breaking barriers.”

“In order to expand the horizons with UCA. We shall use your resource to empower our members in terms of technical capacity,” Lubega added.
