Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has summoned 24 players to the team’s camp ahead of the Buganda region tour.
The Serbian has however, left out Vipers SC and KCCA FC players who are preparing for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup, respectively.
Meanwhile URA FC players, who are not going to take part in any continental engagements, have been left out for unknown reasons.
On Monday, the coach summoned 33 players who will start preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger on September 7th in Marrakech.
From that squad, Micho has picked goalkeepers Joel Mutakubwa, Charles Lukwago, and SC Villa captain Kenneth Semakula for the regional tour.
The Cranes will face Buganda in the exhibition match on Saturday at the Kassana Grounds in Luweero.
