Uganda Premier League side URA FC signs young star Godfrey Sekibengo

Uganda Premier League side URA FC have yet again, unveiled another youngster, Godfrey Sekibengo on a three-year contract.

He becomes the fourth budding star at the club after Denis Luzige Kisiriko, John Innocent Kisolo and Amis Bwangani.

The 17 year-old joins the Tax Collectors from St. Henry’s College Kitovu, where he is assistant skipper to Denis Luzige Kisiriko.

He was impressive at this year’s USSSA football championship in Fortpotal that saw his side fall 1-0 to giants, St Mary’s Secondary School, Kitende in the final.

The hugely talented versatile attacker previously played for KJT in the Gothia Cup in China in 2017 and 2018 in the U12 category, before winning both tournaments as well as scooping the MVP accolades in both editions.

In 2019, he was a pillar as the Uganda U15 side won the Inaugural CECAFA tournament in Eritrea, defeating Kenya U15 4-0 in the final.
