Uganda Rugby Union on Friday named Isaac Lutwama Nsubuga as the new Chief Executive Officer after a year plus of no face in the office.
Lutwama occupies the vacuum left behind by long serving Ramsey Olinga who continues as the Chief Technical Officer.
“In the bid to professionalise rugby, we have to consider the right personnel. Lutwama is also a former player and administrator at KOBs. We have high hopes in him to steer our strategic direction,” Union President Godwin Kayangwe explained.

The Kings College Budo Old Student has served in different multinational corporate companies such Unilever & Copia Uganda.
Consequently he has over 10 years’ experience working in the FMCG sector in Uganda and Kenya.
He is a trained Economist with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Makerere University.
In addition Isaac is passionate about sports, rugby in particular having played it from high school level.
The former Kampala Old Boys (KOBs) Rugby Club player and administrator at the level of Vice Chairman is a hands on leader.
More significanly, he has been on the Union Local Organising Committee for various in the past years.
In conclusion therefore, Uganda Rugby Union hopes to leverage his experience building and marketing brands to help build a sustainable future of financial strength, sporting excellence and success for Ugandan Rugby in his new role.
