Vipers SC JT and BUL FC JT Crush Opponents in FUFA Juniors League National Championship

The FUFA Juniors League National Championship continued today with two games played on match day two.

Buganda region winners Vipers SC JT destroyed Friends of Soccer Academy beating them 6-0, before BUL FC JT thrashed Mbarara Sports Academy 5-0 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Vipers SC Junior Team took the lead in the third minute through Frank Ssekanjako and never looked back.

Farouq Tumwesigye doubled the lead in the 48th minute before Ibra Ssebagala, Frank Ssekanjako, and Leornard Kasaanya all got on the scoresheet. Arafat Nkoola scored the last goal in the 80th minute to complete the rout.

In the other match, BUL FC JT got their first goal through Swabiru Mpasa in the 25th minute. Richard Okello scored two goals in the 60th and 61st minutes before Mpasa completed his hat-trick in the 75th minute.

The results mean that Vipers SC Junior Team are top of the table with 7 points, while BUL FC Junior Team are second with 4 points. Friends of Soccer Academy are bottom of the table with 0 points.

The FUFA Juniors League National Championship will continue tomorrow with two games as Mbarara Sports Academy take on Friends Of Soccer Academy and BUL FC Junior Team battle with Prosper Soccer Academy.

The tournament is played on a round robin format with each team to play four games during the five match days.
