Fresh in the FUFA Big League, Onduparaka FC have completed the unveiling of former striker Samson Ceasor Okhuti, as their new head coach.
The developments were confirmed by the club on Tuesday, albeit, without revealing the duration of his contract.
“Our former Striker, Samson Ceasor Okhuti returns back home in the capacity of Head Coach to steer the wheel in our quest for a return to UPL,” a club statement read.
The CAF ‘C’ License holder currently serves as head coach for West Nile province in the ongoing FUFA Drum.
Okhuti will have Omar Abdul as his deputy, while Ibrahim Kongo will serves as the goalkeepers’ coach with the Caterpillars.
To add, Ramadan Musema Okuni, Joseph Vudri and Hope Letasi will serve as fitness coach, team doctor and welfare manager, respectively.
Onduparaka was relegated to the second tier last season having collected just 22 points in 28 matches.
The technical team will be tasked to ensure they make an instant bounce back to the Uganda Premier League, where they spent seven years.
