Jinja Cricket Oval will witness a top-of-the-table clash in the National Women’s T20 League tomorrow.

The home side, Soroti City will host defending champions Aziz Damani in Saturday’s must-watch encounter.

The two sides each go into the game with a 100% record this term having both won all their games.

Both have accumulated eight points, but with a superior net run rate, Damani tops the table standings.

Yusuf Nanga‘s side won what would’ve been their season-opening double-header by forfeiture after Tornado Bee failed to honour the fixture.

On the other hand, Soroti City won all their opening four games convincingly, but they have not played a league game since mid-April.

The side has in their ranks National Team players such as Kevin Awino, Janet Mbabazi, Irene Alumo, Phionah Kulume, Evelyn Anyipo, and Sarah Akiteng.

They beat both Olila High School and Wanderers and, they will be out to continue with their perfect start against Damani.

Damani have in their armory Proscovia Alako, Consy Aweko, Immaculate Nakisuyi, Gloria Obukor, and Patricia Malemekia, all national team players.

They will also head into this one looking to maintain their position at the top.

They humbled Pioneer in their doubleheader last weekend so they will be gunning for victory against what many consider their only competition this term.

In the other league game in the women’s division, Jinja SS will take on Wanderers at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.

It will be the first time the students will be involved in league action this term, but it will be the Wanderers’ fifth and sixth games.

The Wanderers lost all four games, with their most recent defeat coming against Olila last Saturday.

They will look to get off the mark on Saturday while Jinja SS will seek to start their season on a high.
