The 2022 Bika Netball tournament silverware battle has four clans still in pursuit following today’s quarterfinals action at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku.
The day threw off with Ngeye advancing to the semifinals without breaking a sweat as Nte did not show up and the former got a walkover.
Defending champions Nyonyi Nyange controlled matters from start to finish as they defeated Ngabi Nsamba in a game that ended 43-34.
Another giant, Mmamba Namakaka humbled Mbogo 47-22 to register the biggest margin on the hot Monday morning.
Unlike the other two games, the one between Lugave and Mutima Musagi was a close contest separated by six goals only. Lugave held on for a 36-30 victory.
Action returns on Thursday with Lugave entertaining Mmamba Namakaka and Ngeye taking on Nyonyi Nyange at a venue to be communicated later.
