Home side Black Pirates defeated Makerere Impis 15-00 in the final of the Wakiso Nile Special 7s on Sunday at Kings Park Arena, Bweyogerere.
The opening circuit of the national rugby 7s had favourites such as; KOBs, Jinja Hippos and Heathens fail to get past the quarterfinals stage.
Pirates, Impis, Rams and Buffaloes occupied the top four slots hence pocketing a good 22, 19, 17 and 15 points respectively ahead of the Entebbe circuit.
Action returns this Saturday at Busambaga grounds, the home of Entebbe Mongers.
