Bobi Wine’s love for boxing is a public secret.
The musician turned politician real names, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu who has a clean professional boxing record of one fight one win is now wearing the fanatic attire.
With professional boxing action featuring Olympians Shadir Musa Bwogi and David Ssemujju on the card, Bobi Wine called up the youths to go and flood Lugogo Indoor Arena.
“Let’s support Ghetto talent,” was his brief message flanked with a picture of Shadir and his opponent in support of the fight night.
Shadir will face off with Henry ‘The Stopper’ Kasujja in the main fight today evening.
“I won’t say much, I will do the talking in the ring and it’s Kasujja to feel the pain.” Said the former Bomber captain Shadir
In his first professional fight, Shadir unanimously defeated Herbert Mugarura in the fight that was held at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo three months ago.
Shortly before the main fight, another big one in Ssemujju aka De Animal up against Shamil Ntambi in the the Super welterweight category will be fireworks.
“I am always ready like the Spartans are, so Ntambi should just wait for the worst. I have defeated fighters whom I little about so I fear no one,” Ssemujju noted.
Just like Shadir, Ssemujju also had a perfect professional debut with a unanimous win over Latigo Hamza Champion on the same day.
That day, Lugogo stadium had Bobi Wine in attendance flanked by Nubain Li among others but it is still uncertain whether he will part of tonight’s crowd.
