DStv has moved to bring the 2026 FIFA World Cup closer to an ordinary Ugandan fan by making every match available across all subscription packages for the first time.
From DStv Access to Premium, subscribers will watch all 104 matches live as the tournament heads to the USA, Mexico and Canada in what will be the biggest World Cup ever.

The move means millions of football fans across Africa will no longer need premium packages to follow the world’s biggest sporting event.
It also comes with discounted decoder offers aimed at making access easier before the tournament begins.
Between May 11 and August 31, DStv Standard decoders will sell at UGX20,000, Zappers at UGX15,000, full kits at UGX45,000 and Exploras at UGX559,000.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will feature 48 nations and run across 39 days of nonstop football.
With many matches expected late at night because of the North American time zones, DStv says SuperSport will bring the tournament directly into African homes.
SuperSport’s coverage will include all 104 matches live, dedicated 24-hour World Cup channels, simultaneous match broadcasts, multilingual commentary and a special FIFA World Cup pop-up channel.

Fans will also get highlights, analysis, magazine shows, behind the scenes features and African football stories throughout the tournament.
With Live TV, Catch Up, replays and streaming options available, viewers will be able to follow matches wherever they are.
GOTV Uganda will also broadcast all the 104 matches on 4 dedicated Channels 24/7.
Hassan Saleh, Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Uganda, said the World Cup is bigger than football.
“The FIFA World Cup is more than just a tournament, it’s a shared global moment,” Saleh said.
“Our goal is to ensure fans across Africa experience every goal, every story and every unforgettable moment as it happens.”
