Crested Cranes striker Fazila Ikwaput has set an ambitious target after joining Kampala Queens FC on a two-year contract.

The 2020/21 Women Super League MVP made it clear that she wants to win the forthcoming Cecafa Zonal qualifiers and take her new side to the CAF Champions League.

“My target is to win the CAF champions league Cecafa Zonal qualifiers title,” Ikwaput stated.

The former Lady Doves striker was a free agent after completing her contract with Cyprus side Omonia Nicosia.

It’s believed that Kampala Queens FC were lacking a sharp finisher and that’s why they have signed Ikwaput.

After winning the 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League, Queens will represent Uganda in the CAF Champions League Zonal qualifiers.
