FUFA Women Super League moneybags, Kampala Queens FC officially completed the coup of lethal striker, Hasifa Nassuna.

Off the books at UCU Lady Cardinals, Nassuna’s official unveiling was made public knowledge on Monday.

“Finally the wait is over. She is the latest queen in the palace. The G.O.A.T is in the palace,” partly read the statement off the Club’s website.

Nassuna, who has been plying her trade with the UCU Cardinals, is a proven forward and posseses a natural eye for goal.

In the 2021/22 season, she reached 100 league goals, a milestone solely achieved by her, in Uganda’s Women Football history.

The Crested Cranes star is versatile as she can play across the entire front three, but can as well operate in an advanced midfield role, as it was in the recently concluded 2022 Women Africa Cup of Nations.

She is without a single doubt a huge addition to the Palace, as they seek to win the League this season.

At Kampala Queens, she joins other new signings in Sumaya Komuntale, Teddy Najjuma, Asia Nakibuuka, goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro, Elizabeth Nakigozi and Grace Aluka.

Kampala Queens got off to a bright start to the season, with a 5-0 win over new comers Asubo Gafford in their first game of the season played at the IUIU Kabojja Grounds on Sunday.

They will visit defending champions She Corporate on Sunday at MUBS Arena, Nakawa, in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter.
