FUFA Women Super League (FWSL) moneybags Kampala Queens continued their perfect 2022/23 campaign with a 2-0 victory over Olila High School on Sunday.

The Queens’ victory at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru extended their winning streak to six successive games.

Zaina Nandede and Resty Nanziri struck to push further their tally to 18 points at the top.

Meanwhile, at Nakawa, defending champions She Corporate are yet to replicate last season’s brilliance as they yet again dropped points.

They drew one-all with Lady Doves FC on Saturday at the MUBS Arena. The latter netted first through Evelyn Nandera before Joanita Ainembabazi leveled matters for She Corporate three minutes to halftime.

Elsewhere, Rines FC picked their maiden victory this season with a narrow 2-1 away win over She Makerere.

Phionah Arachi and Yasmeen Nalukwago netted for Rines, who are still bottom of the log with three points. Josephine Ndagire netted for Makerere.

Further, Uganda Martyrs’ Kevin Nakacwa, Latifah Nakasi, Catherine Nagadya and Sumayiya Nalumu were on the score-sheet as they beat UCU Lady Cardinals 4-1 on Saturday. UCU’s consolation was scored by Ashiat Nalugwa from the penalty.

Asubo Gafford Ladies FC and Kawempe Muslim played out a 1-1 stalemate. Shakirah Nyinagahirwa and Medina Nakayi scored for Kawempe and Gafford respectively.
