Football fans across Uganda and Africa will watch every match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup live on GOtv after the broadcaster confirmed that all 104 games will air on GOtv Plus packages and above.
To make the tournament more accessible, GOtv has also introduced a special decoder offer, with new customers able to get the Gotenna decoder at UGX15,000 from May 11 to August 31.

The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada, will be the biggest in history, featuring 48 nations and 104 matches played across 39 days.
With many matches expected to kick off late at night for African viewers, SuperSport on GOtv says it is ready to bring the action directly into homes with round the clock coverage.
Fans will enjoy dedicated World Cup channels, live coverage of all matches, simultaneous broadcasts, multilingual commentary and a special FIFA World Cup pop up channel throughout the tournament.
Beyond the live games, viewers will also access highlights, expert analysis, magazine shows and behind the scenes features focused on African football stories.
GOtv will further offer flexible viewing through Live TV, Catch Up, replays and streaming options, allowing fans to follow the tournament wherever they are.

“Our goal is to ensure that fans across Africa can experience every goal, every story and every unforgettable moment as it happens,” said Hassan Saleh.
“With dedicated World Cup channels and non-stop coverage, SuperSport will once again be the home of the biggest sporting event in the world,” he added.
The announcement is likely to excite football fans across the continent as anticipation builds for a World Cup expected to deliver unforgettable moments, fierce rivalries and football nights that stretch into the early morning hours.
