Kyoga Avengers won by 21 runs
Rain delayed the start of Day Two at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on Tuesday morning, but once play began, Kyoga Avengers wasted little time taking control.

With wet conditions forcing the match against Mburo Blasters into a six over contest, Kyoga produced a sharp display with both bat and ball to secure a 21 run victory at the Great Lakes Women’s T20 Tournament.
Malisa Ariokot led the way with an unbeaten 29 off 18 balls, striking three fours and two sixes as Kyoga posted 50 for two in six overs.

Kevin Awino added 12 before falling late in the innings, while Proscovia Alako was run out early. Ariokot’s attacking knock ensured Kyoga finished strongly despite the shortened game.
Mburo struggled to contain the scoring, with Tino Sarah conceding 25 runs in two overs.

In reply, Mburo’s chase fell apart from the first delivery when captain Jimia Abdallah Muhammed was dismissed for a duck by Sarah Akiteng.
Akiteng then tightened Kyoga’s grip on the match with figures of three for nine in two overs, while Amayo Martha claimed two wickets in a tidy final over.
Only Giringish Shadia Nabulime offered resistance with 15 runs as Mburo finished on 29 for six.
The victory gave Kyoga Avengers their second win of the tournament after opening their campaign on Monday with a five wicket win over Bunyonyi Warriors.

Later on Tuesday, Victoria Strikers will face Mburo Blasters at Lugogo.
