Uganda’s senior women’s national cricket team, the Victoria Pearls, will be out to defend their Victoria Series crown at the Entebbe Cricket Oval.
The tournament will run from November 4 to November 15, 2026, featuring regional neighbours Rwanda, familiar nemeses Namibia, and the USA.
In what has been a busy year, the Pearls’ most recent outing was against the Capricorn Eagles, Namibia’s national team, at the 2026 Capricorn Women’s T20I Quadrangular Series played in Windhoek, Namibia.
During the 2025 edition of the Victoria Series hosted at the Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala, the Pearls delivered a dominant 5–0 sweep against the Canada Women’s National Team in a five-match bilateral series.
Earlier this year, they also faced off against the USA women’s national cricket team during the inaugural Easter Women’s T20 Cup in April 2026 in Entebbe.
Returning to the lakeside oval, the team will aim to replicate their recent success against a formidable quadrangular field.

“Hosting such high-calibre tournaments is a testament to our continuous commitment to expanding the women’s game and providing our Victoria Pearls with the elite competitive exposure they need on home soil,” noted Denis Musali, Honorary Secretary of Cricket Uganda.
Musali went on to highlight the broader strategic significance of hosting the competition: “Events of this magnitude not only showcase the rapid growth of cricket across the continent but also offer our fans a chance to witness world-class athletic talent right here in Entebbe.”
Additionally, the Pearls will use this tournament as key preparation for the 2027 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier finals, testing themselves directly against familiar regional rivals.
