With just days to go before the tournament, the Victoria Pearls have named their 14-player squad alongside two reserves for the upcoming 2026 Victoria Series at the Entebbe Cricket Oval.
The tournament will bowl off at the lakeshore oval from November 6 to November 14, 2026, featuring regional neighbors Rwanda, fierce rivals Namibia, and the USA.
The Pearls will be led by all-rounder Janet Mbabazi, who retains the captaincy and welcomes the return of Naume Amongin and Kevin Awino, both of whom missed the Capricorn Series.

Captain Mbabazi expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to host three visiting nations this year, calling it proof of how rapidly women’s cricket is growing globally.
The highlight of the squad selection is Australian-based 23-year-old right-handed batter Kampi Nainhabo, who is in line to make her international debut for her mother country.
Boasting a high cricket IQ, the biochemist brings valuable experience from the South East Bayside Breakers, the Cricket Victoria Female High Performance Academy, and Melbourne Cricket Club.
On home soil and with a local crowd behind them, the Victoria Pearls will be out to defend their title, which they won with a clean 5-0 sweep against the Canada Women’s National Team during a five-match bilateral series from October 20 to October 26, 2025.

“For us, the success we had in the Capricorn Series in Namibia is a huge confidence booster because it shows how much we have improved and grown as a team. Everyone is focused and ready to compete,” Mbabazi said.
