URA FC coach David Obua was satisfied with his team’s performance despite drawing 2-2 with Kitara FC in the Ugandan Premier League on Friday.

Kitara took the lead through a spectacular strike by Living Kabon before defender Najib Fesali equalised late in the first half.

Striker Ivan Ahimbisibwe gave URA the lead in the second half, but Brian Aheebwa levelled matters for Kitara in stoppage time.

“What is key is that we played a good game,” Obua said after the match.

“My players will try to improve with time. So long as we play well for me, that is what is important. I want everyone who watches URA to be impressed. With time, we shall be where we want to be. The league is a marathon.”

The draw was a crucial point for Kitara, who had lost their previous game to Maroons. URA, on the other hand, extended their unbeaten run to three games.

“We lived up to our expectations,” Ssenyondo said. “We shall build from this in our next games. The boys followed my instructions and it worked.”
