The National Ludo Super League diced off on Sunday 19th March 2023 and a total of 28 goals were scored across 7 games.

It was a day where teams had no respect for big boys with the 2018 Champions Nansana All Stars thumping defending Champions Nansana Galaxy 3-1 in a derby that attracted a big crowd at the Galaxy Arena, Nansana.

In a tense affair, last year’s runners-up Masaka Giants lost 1-3 to Basajja Bayiiya Ludo Club who were very energetic in the other David up against Goliath encounter.

Away from the shocks of the opening day of the 2023 League, Gulu City and Kiboga Young were equal to the challenge, settling for a 2-2 draw.

Back in Kampala, Ntinda United managed to edge Kings Ludo 3-1 at their home grounds in Nob, Ntinda.

In other games, Buloba A and Metsl drew 2 all, Kazo Hill picked up a 3-1 win over Buyende United, while Kubiri lost 1-3 to Nakawa Market at home.

The National Ludo Super League action returns on Sunday 26th, March 2023 with all games at 10 am.
