QC Mbarara clinched the inaugural Futsal Women Super League title on Friday evening after a perfect day’s work saw them collect six points and finish top of the standings with 13 points from five matches.
Hadijah Nadango and Grameen’s Namagembe stole the spotlight with outstanding individual performances, each scoring six goals across the day’s fixtures.

QC Mbarara began their title charge by dismantling Kabowa Dream Team 5-1. Nadango was unstoppable, scoring four goals inside the opening 12 minutes to hand her side a commanding advantage. Kabowa pulled one back through Nabusawo before Patricia Busigye added QC’s fifth goal to complete the emphatic victory.
Grameen then produced one of the comebacks of the season against Kisenyi FC. Mercy Amoding gave Kisenyi the lead before Mariam Twebaze doubled the advantage.
Trailing 2-0, Grameen mounted a stunning fightback, scoring three goals in as many minutes to snatch a dramatic 3-2 victory. Namagembe struck twice, while Moreen Kizza netted the other goal to complete the remarkable turnaround.
In another closely contested encounter, defending champions Mengo City were held to a goalless draw by Edgars Youth Programme.
Grameen maintained their momentum with a convincing 4-1 victory over Kabowa Dream Team. Namagembe opened the scoring before Peace Nabusawa equalised for Kabowa. The Grameen forward then took over, adding three more goals to complete a four-goal haul and seal another important victory.

QC Mbarara wrapped up their title-winning campaign with a 3-1 triumph over Edgars Youth Programme. After Edgars took an early lead, Mastiluh Nakku restored parity before halftime. Nadango then struck twice after the break to secure QC’s second win of the day and confirm the championship.
