Uganda sports governing body National Council of Sports (NCS) is to meet the National Sports Federations-cum-associations.

The forum in line with the second quarter of the financial year 2022/2023 will be hosted by Copper Chimney Restaurant, Lugogo.

Going by the invitation letter seen by Nnalubaale Sports, this is to happen on Friday the 30th of December 2022, starting from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The forum with four objectives on the agenda will to be chaired by Minister of State for Education and Sports (Sports), Peter Ogwang.

The objectives are; to recommend to the Hon. Minister strategies for promoting and developing sports in Uganda.

The second objective will focus on how to attract and solicit funding and partnerships for Sports as a whole.

Also, sports bodies will advise the Minister on the nature of assistance and support to be given to those representing Uganda abroad.

The last objective will see sports bodies submit on how best they can assist the Council in sports branding.

After the brainstorming meeting, Minister Ogwang will address journalists at 4:30pm at the same venue.

Following the ongoing Parliament of Uganda investigations into NCS that has seen sports leaders describe NCS as an incompetent body among other short falls, we await a hot forum.
