Tanzanian side Singida Big Stars have signed Ugandan defender Nicolas Wadada from Ihefu SC.
The 28-year-old right-back has penned a two-year deal with the club, who will represent Tanzania in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
Wadada joins a number of Ugandans at Singida, including defender Shafik Batambuze, and coaches Matia Lule and Steven Billy Kiggundu.
The former Vipers SC defender was named in the Tanzania Premier League Team of the Season in 2020 and also won the award for Best Defender that year.
Wadada has previously played for Azam FC and Ihefu SC in a 5 year spell in the Tanzania Premier League.
Singida Big Stars are hoping to challenge for silverware in Tanzania and make an impact in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
The addition of Wadada is a major coup for the club and they will be hoping he can help them achieve their goals.
