Brian Olwo struck first and Arafat Ibanda added a second half brace as Uganda’s U17 side, the Cubs, beat Mozambique 3-1 in a friendly match in Morocco on Tuesday.

The game, played at the Annexe Terrain Mohammed V in Casablanca, saw Uganda take control early through Olwo’s first half goal.
Ibanda then stepped up after the break, scoring twice to seal a comfortable win.

It was a confident display from the Cubs, who looked sharp in attack and organized across the pitch against a fellow side preparing for the AFCON U17 Tournament.
Uganda will face Mali on Saturday in their final warm-up match before the tournament begins on May 13.
At the competition, the Cubs are drawn in Group B alongside Ivory Coast, Cameroon and DR Congo.
