Today morning, FUFA Women’s Super League has a three-course meal breakfast with all games kicking off at exactly 10 am.
Rines will face unbeaten Kampala Queens, She Makerere will host injury-troubled Olila and scoring-free Asubo Gafford will travel to Nakawa to test She Corporate FC.
KAMPALA QUEENS FC VS RINES SS WFC
Kampala Queens FC are in the final bend of writing the history of being invincible and this will be their target as they walk onto the pitch today.
The last time Rines visited Kampala Queens FC, the home side got a 2-0 win and they will be looking forward to emulating the score.
It’s always tricky to face teams that are fighting relegation but Kampala Queens will do their best not to make any mistakes but to get maximum points at home.
The Wakiso-based team will go to 21 points in case of a win, far away from the drop zone, and also stop the unbeaten run for Kampala Queens FC.
The Queens will miss Shakirah Mutibwa, Prima Mugide, Lillian Mutuzo, and Sumayah Komuntale due to injuries.
Joan Nabirye and Docus Nabufu are also out due to personal issues while Rines will be without Hailat Kaudha (knee injury) while Yuster Kayesu is still a doubt.
SHE MAKERERE FC VS OLILA H/S WFC
Bottom of the table She Makerere will host troubled Olila High School WFC at Makerere grounds.
Both teams are fighting to stay and a win for any team will lift their hopes of surviving the knife.
She Makerere will be looking to use the home advantage after beating Uganda Martyrs in their last home game.
Soroti side coach Pande Sadam Cifu is optimistic that his side will fight until the final whistle to secure a double today.
“We have many injuries and four of them are our key players but we believe that we have depth and we will overcome She Makerere.”
SHE CORPORATE FC VS ASUBO GAFFORD LFC
Asubo Gafford will face the reigning champions in Nakawa in a must-win game. A victory will see them jump out of the relegation zone.
Their opponents, She Corporate too are not safe from relegation as they are only three points above the red zone.
The Sharks comfortably beat Asubo Gafford 3-1 in the first leg and they will be out to complete a double.
The visitors will rely on Kamiyat Naigaga who has found the back of the net on four occasions in six league games to hunt for goals.
