The 2023 Pearl of Africa Rally was waved off at the Source of River Nile in Jinja on Friday with driving crews having different targets.
The ceremony followed a shakedown section in the Magamaga sugarcane plantations for the drivers vying for the Africa Rally Championship.
Yassin Nasser took the day and he was flagged off at the Source of the Nile following a captive Busoga cultural dance performance.
However, on Sunday, it was Duncan ‘Kilankane’ Mubiru who emerged as the overall winner while Yassin Nasser clinched the Africa Rally Championship.
