Hajji Ahmed Senyonjo has been making waves in the CRC category, but not in the usual way. After years of sitting in the codriver’s seat, he’s now behind the wheel himself and he’s brought a Toyota Corolla with him, the first of its kind in Ugandan rallying.
Some say he’s brave, others say he’s slightly crazy, but one thing is certain: he’s turning heads. The year hasn’t been bad for the crew at all, finishing 3rd overall in the CRC category. And let’s not forget his trusty co-driver, Muyanja Shariff Hussein, who’s proving that sometimes, teamwork makes the dream work (or at least, the rally car stays on all four wheels).
As they head into the Champions Sprint, Hajji and Muyanja have a modest yet focused goal: to finish on the 2WD podium. With their determination and teamwork, there’s no doubt that the future is looking bright for this dynamic duo.
